JUDICIAL PROCESS
This course will provide students with a working knowledge of courts and judicial process in the U.S. We will (broadly) review institutional features of courts at both the federal and state levels, and we will review processes surrounding both trial and appellate court litigation in both the criminal and civil contexts. Finally, we will study key actors in the judicial process, including litigants, lawyers, judges, and juries
